haiku about the way women are compelled to bear more than they should, by Sarosh Nandwani

audacious woman,

eclipsed among the louder,

still demands a voice.


and given only

finite space to thrive into,

she carves her orbit.


woman defies the

gravity-soaked earth only

because she has to.
