Submit to our second issue, 'Reclaim.' The theme revolves around abuse, trauma, recovery, healing, and the need to reclaim one's body, voice, environment, or home. You are free to interpret the theme as you wish.

You may write about sexual or physical abuse in romantic relationships, abuse in platonic relationships, or parental abuse. Abuse can also be perpetrated through systems. You may have experienced abuse from systems due to the fact that you are a religious or racial minority, or someone along the transgender spectrum, or lower class or caste. Write about what hurts. Send it to us at

All submissions must be sent as an attachment and not pasted into the body of the email. Please title your email as Issue Submission_Genre of Submission_Name. For example: Issue Submission_Poetry_Srishti

There is no limit for the number of submissions, however, if you are submitting to multiple genres, please send separate emails for each genre.

Please use Times New Roman Size 12 in the attachment(s). Please paste a brief introduction, your preferred pronouns, and link to your website/blog into the body of the email. None of this information will be made public without your permission, we just like to get to know our contributors!

We accept simultaneous submissions, but please shoot us an email as soon as your work is accepted elsewhere.

Any queerphobic/sexist/racist content will lead to the submission being rejected and the submitter being blacklisted. (Please just don't be an a$$hole). We aim to respond to submissions within the span of 2 weeks. Once 2 weeks have passed, feel free to shoot us an email and enquire.
