Constants don’t change

as it is implied in its name

but what of it if my constant is

you, with the distance in your eyes

shaded by lips well acquainted with

the performance of promises,

perfect and unparalleled.

If there is anything warrant of change

it is an unmalleable mindset,

all must change.

including you,

including I

despite what it may mean for tomorrow.
